My Birthplace

This summer, as well as spending time in NC, I went back to my birthplace, the Isle of Jersey. Sadly it was only a short trip, but we did manage to fit in plenty of surfing and lazing around on the beach,
Here are a few photos.
These crazy surfers were catching waves long after the tide had started to hit the sea wall. Here one of them is being propelled off his board as the backwash from the wall hits the wave he’s riding.
Here you can see how close he was to the sea wall (visible at the bottom of the photo).
